Risk / reward calculator
The risk-to-reward ratio from entry, stop and take-profit.
Fill in the fields above
How it works
The risk/reward ratio compares how much you risk to how much you can make: risk = |entry − stop|, reward = |take − entry|, ratio = reward ÷ risk. A value of 1:2 means the potential reward is twice the risk. For a long the stop is below entry and take above; for a short the reverse.
Example: long, entry 100, stop 96, take 112. Risk 4, reward 12, ratio 1:3.
